This image was taken after the passing of a winter storm. The sky had begun to break. The wind was blowing 25 knots gusting to 38 knots and the temperature was a chilly 2 deg C. A lone individual stands in the shelter of the lighthouse while watching the waves put on their display. I shot this image from the protection of my truck parked alongside the highway. I was shooting out the window trying to avoid the heavy salt spray coming in from the sea.
