Golden hills. Castelluccio di Norcia.August 2016. The week before the earthquake destroyed this paradise .. Castelluccio di Norcia is a stone village located on the west side of Mount Vettore, 1,350 meters above sea level. At its feet opens a plain that in summer blooms and is colored with violet, orange, red, yellow access. Thousands go to see it, and it is impossible not to be enchanted by wonder. At 7:40 am on Sunday, October 30, 2016, a 6.5-degree earthquake jolt on the Richter scale knocked down Castelluccio. Its inhabitants were taken away with helicopters in the afternoon.
