James Wiens

James Wiens is an artist and avid outdoorsman based in Canada. He grew up and settled in British Columbia on his family’s farm surrounded by dramatic mountains, rivers and woodlands. James later studied printmaking and painting at the Emily Carr College of Art and Design in Vancouver where he gained a diploma.

In reflection of his rural home, most of James' beautiful paintings are based on his love for nature and the wild outdoors. With his main theme of “beauty in itself”, James’ mission is to show the intricacy, sophistication and grandeur of nature’s beauty.
