The Benefits of Peel & Stick Wallpaper

The benefits of our removable wallpapers are endless but here are few commonly asked questions:

Does peel and stick wallpaper really work?

Yes! As well as being easy to put up, they are long-lasting and flexible just like traditional wallpaper.

Does removable wallpaper ruin walls?

The simple answer is no. They are designed in such a way that they can be gently removed without ruining your wall paint underneath.

Can you use peel and stick wallpaper in bathrooms?

Ideally, they work best with low humidity and moisture. We recommend not to use peel and stick wallpaper in bathrooms or other damp rooms: it is best to stick to standard wallpaper in these areas.

Can I take the wallpaper down and use it on another wall?

Unfortunately we can't guarantee this process. From experience, you have to be extremely careful removing the wallpaper to make sure it doesn't crease. Also, sticking it down and unpeeling the wallpaper will make the wallpaper lose its adhesion.

Can you clean peel and stick wallpapers?

Providing you don't use heavy chemicals or cleaning products, our peel and stick material is certainly wipeable. Jut slightly dampen a soft cloth and wipe gently in one direction.

How to Install Peel and Stick Wallpapers

All our peel and stick wallpapers are supplied on a roll and divided into panels, making them simple to install. Carefully cut along the dotted cut marks for each panel and lay them out flat for at least 5 hours.

To achieve the best results, it's important to prepare your wall beforehand. Make sure your wall is clean, smooth and free from any flaky paint. It's also crucial that your wall is primed/sealed first. Allow the primer/sealer 2-3 weeks to dry out before hanging your mural. Our wallpapers do have a degree of transparency so primers other than white may show through and take away the full effect of your new wallpaper.

Once your wall is prepared, you can begin to apply the panels working from left to right. We highly recommend having someone to help you: one person to hold the paper and the other moving it into place. Whilst installing the panels, keep flattening out any air bubbles to achieve a smooth, flat surface. If you step back and you have applied a panel a bit wonky, simply peel it off and reapply it! The beauty of peel and stick wallpaper is that there's always a chance to fix mistakes!

When you have finally installed all of the panels, you will be amazed at the transformation that has taken place (and with such little time and fuss)!
